One of the most awesome thing I learnt from the book is how lucky I am to have an opportunity to get up in the morning and go to work without the fear of violence in the neighborhood and the place we live. As you all are aware like every big city Minneapolis, has it own share of ghettos and bad alleys that none of us should get caught. Sudhir goes in excruciating detail on how the life is one of these projects and explains on why people do what they do and how to better urban plan to bring these people into mainstream. Quality read, I highly recommend this book if you want to experience what is life in one of these projects in Chicago and what it takes for some one to get out and better themselves.
After you read this book, you will understand this comment - JT, I don't think you are a modern day Robin Hood, though you are a good business and taught me when to get out of something, when things don't look up.
